1. Today we started week 3 of our grammar bellringers. This week we are working on Nouns and Verbs.

2. We reviewed the parts of a RICE strategy question (Restate the question in the answer, Introduce the quotation, Cite the source, Explain your reasoning). We wrote a RICE answer about Isabel's emotions in the first 6 chapters of Chains.

3. Then, we reviewed how to write and punctuate in-text citations to avoid plagiarism when we quote. We had a worksheet to practice correcting the errors in citations and an open notes quiz on citations.
