1. We continued practicing types of verbs today. We reviewed the difference between helping, linking, and action verbs. Quiz Friday.

2. We read and analyzed a poem by Langston Hughes titled "Let America Be America Again" and looked at Hughe's view of racism in the 1930s. We compared this to Isabel's view of racism in the 1770s.

3. Finish answering the analysis questions for Hughe's poem. Due Friday.
