1. We took our Verbals quiz.

2. We reviewed our completed plot analysis for Chains.

3. We played a Kahoot to test our knowledge of quotes, symbols, and history in the novel, Chains.

4. We discussed the 5 paragraph research that we will be working on for the next two and a half weeks. We received research paper packets with our prompt, credibility checklists, source cards, and outlines for the essay. We read and analyzed (TAK) the prompt and looked at due dates for the project.

5. We watched a video explaining the organization and structure of a 5 paragraph essay (see below). On Monday, we will work on selecting and narrowing our topics and finding our first research source.
