1. For bellringers this week, we are reviewing in anticipation of a Trimester grammar test over all the skills we have covered so far this year. We will continue to review next week as well with the test on Friday, Nov 17th.

2. This week we have been revising, revising, revising our research papers.

Monday - revised for evidence; making sure we have sprinkled evidence throughout with proper citations.

Tuesday - revised for transitions; making sure we have a smooth transition between ideas and paragraphs

Wednesday - revised for formatting; making sure we have proper MLA format

Thursday - revised for organization and ideas; using the grading rubric we made sure our essays met all the criteria. Then we proofread for spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar.

Friday - today was Veteran's Day and the morning class attended the MS Veteran's program. Periods 4/5 and 6/7 watched a movie about the Honor Flights that take veterans to Washington D.C. to view the memorials, and some of us who needed a little extra time sat in the back and worked on our essays.

Typed drafts are due by the end of today.
