Tue 11/28: The Gettysburg Address

1. Now that we are experts on the Battle Gettysburg, we are ready to read Lincoln's speech: The Gettysburg Address (copies in classroom).

2. Once you have read & annotated the speech, read through it again looking for examples of rhetoric (ethos, pathos, logos), metaphor and allusion.

3. Once you've found examples for each, create a Google Slides presentation with a slide for each example of rhetoric and figurative language. Submit on Google Classroom. Click here for today's notes.
