2. Today we continued our exploration of Spoken Word poetry by looking up the guidelines of Poetry Slam Competitions. Then we read Taylor Mali's "Totally like whatever, you know?" We compared the experience of just reading his poem, to watching him perform it. This week we are shifting our focus from analyzing poetry, to analyzing performances in anticipation for our own poetry reading next week. Click here for today's notes.
