Maybe we'll have a full week of school in February!!

1. Bellringers this week are still over Sentence Types Two - quiz this Friday. Today we spent 10 minutes on IXL Level J-A.13. Remember, practice worksheet due this Friday.

2. Next, we took a quiz over Acts I & II - posted on Classroom.

3. Then, we turned to page 19 in our 12 Angry Men Packets. We defined Protagonist as the main character in a work of fiction. We defined Antagonist as the character or force in conflict with the protagonist. We decided Juror 8 was the main protagonist of our play, and Juror 3 was the main antagonist. Then, we had to determine whether each of the 6 jurors listed was an ally (friend) or antagonist and find text evidence to support our claim.

4. We finished up the short day by starting Act III.
