1. We started the day with scoring the Sentence Types Two Practice Worksheet and answering any questions about the quiz.

2. The Sentences Types Two quiz is posted on Google Classroom. Free Read Friday for the rest of the 1st period of the block. Be sure to enter your reading minutes and pages into the Bookopolis reading log.

3. The 2nd period of the block we finished up our argument paragraphs about whether we agree with the jury's "not guilty" verdict. When you finish your draft, be sure to time yourself reading it to see if you are close to the 2 minute mark. If you are under it, go back and add more evidence and details to your draft. If you are way over it, go back and take some information out. When you've got your draft length at 2 minutes, you are ready to record.

4. You can use whatever program you are familiar with and have available. WeVideo, Screencastify, and Screencast-o-matic are have free versions that have worked with Chromebooks in the past. If you have access to another program, you are welcome to use it. Submit the published link for your video to Google Classroom by the end of the day Wednesday, January 31st. You do NOT need to turn in your draft - ONLY the completed, published video.

5. Be sure to check your link to make sure it works. Non-working links will be considered late, even if submitted on time.

6. Remember, Unit 2 Test on Tuesday, Jan 30th. A Quizlet study set of terms is linked on Google Classroom. Extra study guides are available in the student center of the classroom.
