The Draft (2/28)

1. We started today with reviewing Tuesday night's Language Homework.

2. We read page 20 in our green packets about the 1969 Vietnam draft.

3. We watched the CBS news clip of the draft that took place that night (click here for today's notes).

4. We used this draft chart to find out what our own draft numbers would have been. Directions on how to read the chart are on page 20 of the green packet.

5. Then we listened to the Podcast The Memory Palace episode "Numbers" to help us imagine what the night of the draft might have been like for some people.

6. Read page 21 in your green packet and complete the writing assignment on that page. Completed journal entries can be submitted on Google Classroom.
