Post-War Poems (3/9)

1. We reviewed our Language HW Thursday and collected it.

2. Today we tackled the genre of poems by reading two poems written by Vietnam veterans. The first is by Yusef Komunyakaa titled "Facing It" and the other "Winter Meditation" by Bruce Weigle.

3. Our discussion questions are posted here in the day's notes. The poems and questions are found in the green packet on pages 40 & 41.

4. Remember your personal interview is due next Friday (3/16).
