Short Stories & The War (Mon 3/12)

Welcome to Iowa Assessment week! This week's schedule is going to be a little wonky, but today is a normal day.

1. We received our new Language HW pages for the week. Our new skill for this week is active voice. When the subject of a sentence is the one performing the verb or action of the sentence.

2. We started our LAST text for Unit 3 today. A short story titled "The Red Convertible" by Louise Erdrich. We read the first half today with partners, answered some comprehension questions, and performed a STEAL characterization analysis for our two main characters, Lyman and Henry.

3. We also took a quiz posted on Google Classroom.
