Position Paper (Fri. 3/23 & Mon. 3/26)

1. On Friday, we peer critiqued our quote sandwiches and made revisions as needed.

Then, we continued drafting the rest of paragraph 2 - Reason #1. We turned our second supporting detail into a complete sentence and wrote another quote sandwich to support it. Homework is completing paragraph 2: reason 1.

2. On Monday, we reviewed the process for writing a quote sandwich. We had several gone Thursday & Friday last week for Science Fair, and several gone today for Creative Expressions. Our focus today is to complete the draft for paragraph 3: Reason 2 following the same process as the previous paragraph. We will look at paragraph 4: counterclaim on Tuesday. Homework for Monday is to complete the draft of paragraphs 2 & 3 - the reason paragraphs for the position paper. No Language HW this week - short week.
